Abzû launching in August - new trailer

Do you remember Abzû? Announced at Sony's E3 2014 conference, it was later picked up by 505 Games and has been quietly ignored since then.

Well, not for long: during the preamble to Sony's E3 2016 stream, the publisher announced we can expect to see the underwater exploration effort on Steam and PS4 on August 2. Isn't that exciting? It gave us a new trailer to celebrate the news and all.

What it didn't give us was any new information, instead regurgitating the exact same spiel we got way back when. Oh well, watch and make a judgment call.

If you sense a little similarity with certain thatgamecompany games, that's because the developer is Giant Squid, a studio founded by Journey and Flower art director Matt Nava.
