We've seen all kinds of Xbox custom controllers over the years, but if you're a Gears of Wars fans you might have a new one to be excited about. Revealed at Microsoft's E3 conference, this Xbox Elite Wireless Controller comes in a limited edition Gears of War variety, complete with a design which looks like it survived a Locust invasion.
Outside of the mandatory, Gears of War logo on the left handle, there are all kinds of nice touches on this controller. Scratches run down the front of the device. Its design resembles battle-weathered paint. My personal favorite touch, however, has to be the D-Pad buttons which include weapon art - a nice touch for new players. What's more, the controller includes hair trigger locks, and even includes an exclusive in-game item and three Gear packs to customers.
The controller is apparently available for preorder now, although Microsoft has yet to make links available.
