The Witcher 3's Gwent could be getting a standalone release per trademark filing

It's possible The Witcher 3's popular card game Gwent is getting a standalone version, if a new trademark filing is any indication.

The trademark was filed with the European Union Intellectual Property Office on June 6 along with the logo image above.

As you will note, the trademark and the logo were filed under videogames and software. It's an easy guess it will come to PC, but we can't imagine a reason why it won't come to consoles or possibly mobile either. But, as you all know, I am 0/100 on all predictions.

With CDP heading to E3 2016 next week, it's possible we could get a look at the title.

Thanks, NerdLeaks.
