An open beta for The Tomorrow Children kicks off this Friday

Interested parties in Europe can download the beta client from today on the PlayStation Store.

The beta will kick off at 9am BST/10am CET this Friday, June 3 and it ends on Monday, June 6 at 9am BST/10am CET.

In The Tomorrow Children, players explore and mine for materials to help the town of children defend itself from the “marauding attacks of the Izverg," which are giant monsters roaming the void.

Resources are contained on various islands which house strange things, monsters and treasure.

Players will use the gathered items to craft buildings, gun turrets, light fixtures, cars and tanks.

The Q-Games sandbox adventure was initially slated for a fall 2015 release on PS4 after being announced in 2014.

Hit up the EU PS Blog for more information on the game and the beta.
