Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 multiplayer is free on Steam this weekend. If you have a reasonable PC and you're yet to have a go at the shooter multiplayer event of last year, now's the time.
Jump on board on Steam; the event runs through 1:00pm PT Sunday. If you like what you see, Black Ops 3 is 40% off on Steam throughout the weekend, and the Digital Deluxe Edition is 25% off. Nice.
Meanwhile, those who already worship at Treyarch's altar can enjoy double XP in both standard multiplayer and Zombies mode. This bounty kicks off at 10:00am PT Friday and runs through the same time on Monday.
This double XP offer is open to everyone, as opposed to the current groups event. The new event kicks off right as the last one ends, so feel free to chuck your new pals and roll solo again.
