Overwatch beta going offline next week

Blizzard has announced that as the studio enters the final stages of development on Overwatch, the closed beta will be taken offline.

The beta's final day will be Monday, April 25. Servers go offline at 10am PDT/5pm GMT in all regions, and no more players will be invited.

Blizzard announced this earlier today, and thanked fans for their feedback throughout the game's various betas.

One final open beta will be held May 5-9 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Pre-ordering the game gets you in on May 3.

The studio also posted a video update revealing some interesting things about what's going to happen from now until launch.
