The PlayStation VR social app looks silly and awesome at the same time

The social app for PSVR looks all kinds of awesome.

The social app for PlayStation VR looks like a ridiculous amount of fun. The crowd of developers watching a tour of it seem to agree judging by their reactions.

The Move controllers act as hands, and you can gesture using your avatar's index fingers, thumbs, or their whole hand. General movement is achieved by tapping left and right to rotate, and the little pattering feet when you move are absolutely adorable. And don't get me started on the emotes.

We got to see a couple of different environments, and interactions with instruments, ping pong, and even a snowball fight.

The video is just under 15 minutes but it's a great look at a VR social space and what can be achieved. Plus it seems like tonnes of fun.

Is this something you'd want to use with your friends on PSVR? Let us know in the comments.
