Paradox sci-fi grand strategy Stellaris launching in May - gorgeous new trailer

Stellaris has a release date, and it's much sooner than we expected.

Just eight months after announce, Paradox's Stellaris has a release date. The grand strategy 4X hybrid will launch on May 9, the publisher announced during its livestreamed GDC event.

The Stellaris project is led by Henrik Fåhraeus, the key designer on Crusader Kings 2, so you can see why strategy fans might be a bit excited about this one - especially if they're more interested in the stars than history. Paradox has released 25 developer diaries so far covering all kinds of neat stuff; catch up on Steam.
