Latest Overwatch beta patch resets player's career profile stats, adds new map

Those playing around in the Overwatch closed beta can now enjoy new content thanks to the latest update.

According to a post from Blizzard, the update comes with new Control Map, new Progression Rewards, Hero balance changes, and some general fixes.

The patch also include a full wipe of players’ Career Profiles, which means beta players will find it empty when they first log in.

Previous Personal Best records will be reset, but the wipe does not affect matchmaking, player levels, progression, or rewards.

Overwatch’s open beta will take place May 5-9 and the game will be released May 24 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
