The streaming service will both manage operations for the competitive league and work alongside Psyonix to "build the community and infrastructure," with a long-term growth goal for the rather popular game.

All matches with teams of three will be played on PlayStation 4 and PC starting in March. Additional platform support will be revealed at a later date.

Each RLCS season will span three months and feature teams from both North America and Europe. The top-four teams in each region will be invited to compete at a live International Finals event.

An open qualifier will kick things off followed by a group stage event. Online finals will then be held with a $10,000 prize pool up for grabs. This will take place over a one month period.

A second round of qualifiers will follow the same schedule with the same prize pool.

Following a cooling off period, live international finals will take place over a weekend with a $55,000 prize pool on the line.
