Street Fighter 5 PS4 vs PC max graphics comparison - video

Street Fighter 5 gracefully allows us to compare identical gameplay footage across PC and PS4.

Street Fighter 5 allows players to share replays cross-platform, which means you can compare the two builds side-by side.

Eurogamer's Digital Foundry has had a look at the two versions side-by-side, cranking the PC version up to max settings. You'll immediately recognise a difference; the PC version has motion blur which the PS4 seems to have given up on completely.

According to Digital Foundry, the two builds appear to use very different post-processing, so that you may notice differences in anti-aliasing and depth of field. There are texture inconsistencies, too, but they're not hugely noticeable during gameplay.

The group's conclusion seems to be that the motion blur is really the only majorly noticeable difference, with the console build holding up very well. You need a pretty good PC to avoid slowdown, though, which is something to bear in mind if you're tossing up between the two platforms.

A later Digital Foundry report will go in-depth on the two builds.
