XCOM 2 is not running very well on lots of people's PCs, it seems. Reports of stuttering, lower CPU and GPU utilisation, frame-rate drops for seemingly no reason, can be seen on Steam, the game's official forums and other places.

While the game has yet to receive any post-launch patches, a new post by Firaxis community manager reveals the studio is looking into all reports. "We are aware some players have experienced performance issues while playing XCOM 2, and we are looking into them and gathering more information from users," it reads.

"We want everyone to have the best experience possible, and will continue supporting the title with upcoming patches."

The page proceeds to list some basic troubleshooting methods that most PC players should know, but are worth reading nonetheless.

If you're not having issues with the game, we have a number of helpful tips you can use both out in the field, and on the Avenger.
