Zelda: Twilight Princess HD additions make things easier for you

Nintendo has revealed more on what to expect with The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, such as a new item and more information on Hero Mode.

The new item included in the game is the Ghost Lantern, and it will glow when in the same area as a Poe, this will make Poe the soul-retrieving quest "much easier to complete."

Hero Mode, which is the new challenge mode, can also be selected when starting a new game. In this mode, Link will take double the normal damage and there are no heart drops.

If Link finds Rupees in a treasure chest while his wallet is already full, Rupees will no longer be returned to that chest. This because the wallet has been modified to hold more Rupees.

Tears of Light, which need to be collected by Link at various points, has been reduced from 16 to 12, making the collection "tasks easier."

Many more updates exist in the game, but Nintendo said "discovering them as you play through the legendary adventure is part of the fun."

Controls have also been added which will allow user to access the game map using the Wii U GamePad. Players can also access their inventory at all times using the touch screen, and quickly transform into a wolf "with one easy tap."

The game can be played off-TV on the GamePad.

As previously announced, all physical versions of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD will include a Wolf Link amiibo figure, which is currently the only way to acquire the amiibo at present.
