Space Hulk: Ascension will release in Europe for PS4 this year

Space Hulk: Ascension will release on PlayStation 4 digitally and through retail this year.

HR Games will publish the Funbox Media game, which is a port of the updated Space Hulk title from Full Control. It comes with the Salamader DLC and other content which was made available on PC last year.

The game was developed by Full Control and originally released for PC back in 2013, and was released on PS3 and Vita in North America back in September. The base game released in Australia and Europe back in October on PS3 and Vita.

Accession  includes ten times the amount of content of the original game, with 50 – 100 hours of game time.

It also comes with 103 unique missions spread out across three campaign chapters, new Genestealer variations, a reworking of the board game rules and mechanics, RPG-style skill progression and player squad management, new weapons, more complex maps, combo-weapons and flash missions.

Space Hulk will also arrive on the eShop for Wii U this week after initially being slated for May 2015. It was then pushed to a Christmas release and missed it.
