Rumours of a release next month are an “error” according to CD Projekt.
Rumours that there is to be an Enhanced Edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt have been nipped in the bud by developer CD Projekt.
French retailer e-leclerc has an Enhanced Edition listed listed for release next month on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
“There’s no Enhanced Edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that we are aware of, this is some kind of error that we will look into,” said CD Projekt on its official forums.
An Enhanced Edition of one of last year’s biggest games wouldn’t be a surprise – it’s already had a whole bunch of DLC added to the game post release. And both previous games got a special Enhanced Edition.
This may be a case of a retailer jumping the gun on an official announcement. Or it may well be that CD Projekt is being straight up with us and such a release is not on the cards any time soon. Yeah, right.
