The Elder Scrolls: Legends delayed to 2016

One of the lesser-popular Bethesda announcements at E3 is not going to make it out this year.

Bethesda's pre-E3 show this year was full of big announcements. We saw the DOOM, Dishonored 2, Fallout 4, and even mobile spin-off Fallout Shelter.

The Elder Scrolls: Legends, the free-to-play card game based on the Elder Scrolls universe was also announced, and then promptly forgotten about by almost everyone. The game was supposed to be a Hearthstone-like CCG and was slated for a release this year on PC and mobile.

This isn't happening, unfortunately, according to Bethesda's Pete Hines, who confirmed the news to a curious fan on Twitter.

Hines did add that it's still coming along, and that he's played it. Hopefully, as the fan suggested, it means we get a better game on day one.
