Team Fortress 2's adds new three-month event, maps, contracts, more

Team Fortress 2 has received another major event-based update.

Tough Break is the name of the latest Team Fortress 2 update. The update brings a tonne of changes, and adds new content and new event. The highlight is the new Tough Break event, which lasts for three months.

You pay $6 to buy your way into it, and it comes with 26 new contracts that contain exclusives challenges, weapons, skins, crates, and more. Some of these contracts will be weapon-specific, and can be completed even if you don't have the weapon thanks to a new loan programme. This new system allows you to borrow items for the duration of the contract.

Outside of new destructive tools, new taunts will be also be available for purchase. If you're not looking to spend money, you still get four community-made maps, as well as a host of new balance changes, for free.

These include a reduction to the time it takes to switch weapons, a new outline around teammates on spawn, and few other class-specific changes.
