First direct-feed Rez Infinite trailer released

Tetsuya Mizuguchi's masterpiece gets another go-round.

Rez Infinite fired plenty of loins at PlayStation Experience, but we're only just now getting an official look at it.

The musical shooter is playable in both standard view and via PlayStation VR. Both versions boast pretty impressive performance; 1080p and 60fps with 7.1 surround on standard HD displays, and 120fps with full 3D audio via PlayStation VR.

A "Synaesthesia Suit" with 26 vibrating motors was produced to support the title's debut, replacing the famous Trance Controller of the PS2 era, but will not be made available for general purchase. Depending on feedback, Sony may release a more modest vibrating peripheral.

Developed by the original Rez team, Rez Infinite has not been dated but will presumably launch with or sometime after PlayStation VR in the first quarter of 2015.
