Some changes are coming to Rainbow Six Siege, while other elements will remain the same for now. For instance, the HUD options in both Casual and Ranked playlists in Rainbow Six Siege will remain the same, but Ubisoft plans to have a separate Hardcore playlist for those looking for a more realistic experience. The developer feels Casual and Ranked playlists should feel "as close and consistent as possible"

The developer outlined its plans in a lengthy forum post, confirming that should the player base allow for a third playlist, it will be added in 2016. For now, a custom playlist with proposed set of hardcore rules is available to play in custom games.

Outside of new playlists, server and connectivity issues were also touched upon, with a promise of full patch notes this week. The patch release date was not revealed, but we do know connection issues will be a big part of it.
