PS4 price cut: Star Wars, Uncharted bundles slashed to $300 for two weeks

PS4 will win the holidays, if Sony has anything to say about it.

The PS4 has been given a holiday price cut in the US, and will be available at an RRP of $299.99.

According to the PlayStation Blog, the new price applies to the Star Wars Battlefront and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection 500GB console bundles, and is valid through December 19.

Although the price cut is in effect at all US retailers, it's worth shopping around as some are offering bonuses in a bid to secure your holiday spending.

The seasonal sale price matches Black Friday and Cyber Monday prices, so those who took advantage have no reason to be salty.

No word yet on equivalent local discounts for other territories with price fixing, but UK residents can probably expect the usual retail price wars at the very least.

We're eyeing off Microsoft to see if the $350 Xbox One follows suit, but don't hold your breath.
