Ubisoft has announced Tom Clancy's EndWar Online has gone into open beta, which means anyone can give it a try.

An update to the free-to-play online RPG-strategy game has also been deployed, adding a new PvP mode called War Game. In it, commanders will go up against each other using "specially constructed decks to earn massive rewards."

The content in the game has constantly expanded since the closed alpha and an earlier beta testing phase over this past year.

It now boasts three factions each with their own campaigns, over 80 commanders, over nine unit classes, 84 maps playable in both Normal and Veteran modes, and a range of PvP modes and customisation options.

To participate in the open beta, all you have to do is create an account.
