There's a new Heroes of the Storm map, and it's a bit odd

Heroes of the Storm has a new map where you can't attack the enemy's core.

Look, cats, I'm no good at MOBAs. I don't really understand them. But I do know the point is to either destroy the enemy's core, or to make them so sad and despairing they just give up and forfeit (either by triumphant play or being a jerk). So what's up with Towers of Doom?

Well, as the video below explains, players can't damage the core directly but can control towers that spawn altars. These altars cause damage to the enemy core.

There's more to it; the area directly in front of each core is a kill zone where players shouldn't go, but mercenary camps include sappers who will go after enemy towers and attack the core directly, leaping over the kill zone.

There's also a boss on the map, who unleashes an attack on the enemy core when defeated, and a special transportation tunnel will get players into action rapidly.
