The Legend of Zelda Wii U leverages Amiibo data, new image

Nintendo didn't have much to say about The Legend of Zelda, but what it did say was awesome.

The Legend of Zelda Wii U is still coming 2016, Nintendo reiterated during today's Nintendo Direct.

It will use Amiibo somehow; data saved on the Wolf Link Amiibo releasing for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD will carry over.

Nintendo showed some new footage during the stream, which we'll hopefully be able to bring you later. In the meantime, here's a new promotional image.
