All five of Nintendo and DeNA's smartphone games will be free-to-play

All five smartphone games DeNA is developing with Nintendo will be free downloads, according to the mobile developer's CEO.

Speaking in an earnings briefing reported by the Wall Street Journal, all current titles "in the pipeline are free-to-play,” said DeNA boss Isao Moriyasu today.

All five titles are to be released by March 2017, and the first one - Miitomo - is due globally in March 2016.

Nintendo will host its first Nintendo Direct presentation since June tomorrow, but it said news on mobile games and ist NX platform will not be discussed.
