Naughty Dog plans to add vehicles to Uncharted 4’s multiplayer over time

But there’ll be no wheels at launch.

Uncharted 4 lead multiplayer designer, Robert Cogburn, said in Paris last night that Naughty Dog plans to include vehicles in the shooter’s online portion over time, but they won’t make it for launch.

“I can tell you for ship we will not have vehicles, but it is something we’re hoping to tackle in the future,” he said.

The statement came in response to a journalist’s question at the end of a detailed look at Uncharted 4’s multiplayer’s first trailer, which revealed the use of mystical items, rope-slides, side-kicks and more: but no engines.

Cogburn was speaking in Paris following the Uncharted 4 multiplayer reveal in Sony’s Paris Games Week press conference last night.

The first chance to try out Uncharted 4’s multiplayer will be in the beta on December 4. Only one mode, Team Deathmatch, will be included in the test.

Uncharted 4 releases for PS4 on March 18, 2016.
