YouTube has revealed its newest service called YouTube Red. For $10 a month, YouTube Red offers ad-free viewing across YouTube itself, YouTube Gaming, and YouTube Music - which is launching soon.

For mobile subscribers, Red offers the ability to save videos offline, as well as background play on phones and tablets.

in 2016, YouTube will debut its first original content with a number of prominent YouTubers. These shows and films will be available only to subscribers and include PewDiePie's reality show, as well as few others.

The new blog post announcing the service stressed that the free, ad-supported side of YouTube will remain the same. It also promised to bring the service to countries other the U.S.

If you're in the U.S., you can try Red for one month starting October 28 - the official launch date.
