Destiny: Crucible and Iron Banner loot bugged, fix on the way

Destiny players still aren't getting decent drops from PvP, and Bungie doesn't like it any more than you do.

With Destiny: The Taken King, Bungie introduced a number of new systems designed to make Crucible activities more rewarding. Unfortunately, one of them isn't working.

"Last week, it was clear to us that you were frustrated by the Iron Banner reward drops, and rightly so," design lead Lars Bakken wrote in the Bungie Weekly Update.

"It turns out that, when we started digging into the issue, we uncovered a nasty bug that affected how Legendary drops happen throughout the Crucible, including Iron Banner."

Bakken said Bungie is "working hard" to resolve the problem before the next Iron Banner - but also so that general Crucible is "more rewarding".

Bungie is making changes to improve Crucible in other ways, too. First, it's retuning Daily and Weekly Crucible Bounties so that the really frustrating ones are easier to complete. Second, Lord Shaxx's marathon Crucible quest line will be made shorter, and will take into account completed matches instead of just wins.

There are a couple of other important changes so if either of those topics float your boat hit the link above.
