DOOM alpha kicks off this weekend, check your inboxes for invites

DOOM fans can get a test of id Software's latest this very weekend.
DOOM's first closed alpha test is only a few days away.
To qualify for the test you need to have purchased Wolfenstein: The New Order before May 26 2014 and then signed up on the DOOM website. If you meet these requirements, check your inbox carefully; invites are rolling out now.
The alpha is a technical test so it's light on content, but you can enjoy six standard weapons and one power weapon as you explore the Heatwave map in 6v6 team deathmatch. If you are the first player to the Demon Rune, you can transform into the Revenant demon and use a jetpack and dual rocket launchers.
DOOM is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One in 2016.
