Destiny hot fix temporarily locks Nightstalker's Quiver upgrade node

Destiny cheaters have ruined it for the rest of us - at least for now.

Last week, Destiny players found a very easily replicated bug or exploit allowing Nightstalker Hunters to shoot near-endless Shadowshot projectiles instead of the usual limit of three.

This made PvP something of a nightmare, resulting in the delay of the Trials of Osiris, and turned PvE bosses a farce.

Well, the fun is over, pal - Bungie has responded to this behaviours by locking the Quiver node on the Shadowshot upgrade tree. Nightstalkers must now choose one of the two other options and go back to being only slightly terrifying in the Crucible.

Bungie said the node will be unlocked in a future patch, but goodness knows how long that'll be. I sure wish whoever found the bug had just reported it and kept quiet.
