Overwatch closed beta starts later this month in North America

Blizzard has announced two betas for Overwatch.

One is a closed for gameplay testing and the other one is an open beta which will be stress test.

The closed beta will start in October 27 in North America and will eventually arrive in Europe and Asia, respectively.

Open betas will be held on weekend and will be larger in scale, according to Blizzard.

"These larger-scale beta test weekends will be brought online occasionally for a limited time, generally over a weekend, and will run concurrently with our ongoing closed beta test," reads the announcement. "Because beta test weekends are primarily hardware - and tech-focused, the number of heroes, maps, and gameplay modes will be restricted - but feedback on everything will definitely be welcome."

The first beta test will launch around BlizzCon which runs November 6-7.
