The Game Awards 2015 will take place in December again

During E3 it was announced The Game Awards would return in December, but amidst all the craziness, we missed it.

Don't fault us though: Destructoid missed it too, but we thank them for bringing the latest tweet from the show's Twitter account to our attention.

In January, Geoff Keighley said The Game Awards 2015 show was already in the planning stages, so this news should come as no surprise. Nor should the fact the show is being held in December shock you either: the Spike Video Game Awards (VGAs, VGX), which Keighley hosted, were always held during the same month.

The inaugural show took place on December 6, 2014 and you can have a look at The Game Awards 2014 winners through here.

Just like last year, and all the years prior, we'll be covering the show and reporting anything interesting out of it.

A date for the show hasn't been announced, but we're hoping against hope it doesn't take place alongside the PlayStation Experience like last year. If so, please pray for my mental stability - or however you ask the cosmos for help: bloodletting, dancing naked under a full moon, worshiping bottle caps, whatever.
