Destiny really needs a photo mode

Say what you want about Destiny, it's gloriously beautiful.

Destiny isn't to everybody's tastes, but even you hate the loot cycle hamster wheel and repeating content you must admit it's a very pretty game, full of tiny but delightful details.

Bungie is particularly good at light and reflections. The sunset on the snow; long beams flickering between the blades of a fan or cast by bullet holes; the glowing runes inscribed by the Hive; the worn tiles of the Tower plaza; every glinting metal surface.

Put it all together and you get something beautiful and amazing, especially in the more dramatic areas. I do not understand why Bungie hasn't implemented a photo mode - pull up your ghost and blank the UI and other players for a quick snapshot. It seems such an easy way to draw even more attention to its beautiful worlds.

In the meantime, players go out of their way to frame gorgeous shots and crop out the distrating elements. This Imgur album has some pretty good ones. Here are a few I fancied - watch out for raid and House of Wolves mission spoilers, I guess.
