How The Coalition remastered Gears of War: Ultimate Edition's environments

Gears of War: Ultimate Edition is more than just a visual upgrade, but let's face it, it's a pretty good visual upgrade.
Normally for a video like this I'd watch it and try to pick out some point of discussion, but the copy attached to this one is so amazing I'm just gonna plop it down wholesale:
"Destroyed Beauty - a world burdened with the elements of time and war. The Coalition understood the emotional tone of each level, and put special care to keep the inherent beauty and purposeful gameplay layout intact, while enhancing it with intimate detail."
I don't know whether it sounds more like a dessert or a pair of fancy knickers. Gears of War: Ultimate Edition comes to Xbox One on August 25, and to PC sometime later.
