Online elements for PES 2014 will no longer be supported this fall

Online support for Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 will cease this fall, Konami has announced.

Servers for the online portion of the soccer game will shut down on November 17. All online elements will no longer be supported from this date.

The company will shift its focus off the two-year old game and apply it to PES 2016 along with PES 2015 which remains "hugely popular" online.

PES 2016 will be released on September 15 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. A special Anniversary Edition will be available exclusive to PS3 and PS4.
