It all takes place August 21–23 at the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center, where Pokemon Trading Card Game and video game players from over 30 countries will descend.

If you are unable to attend, you can watch the action live through the Pokemon website or Twitch starting at 9am ET/2pm BST with the Pokrmon World Championships Opening Ceremony.

This will be followed by video game and Pokemon TCG matches, culminating on Sunday, August 23 with the final matches immediately followed by the Video Game Championships finals.

Players will be vying for a share of over $500,000 in scholarship awards, more than four times the amount awarded in 2014. Each Pokemon Video Game World Champion will win a $10,000 scholarship, and each Pokemon TCG World Champion will win a $25,000 scholarship.
