Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition coming this fall with new content

An expansion for gorgeous platformer Ori and the Blind Forest is in the works along with a Definitive Edition.

News on the expansion was announced during gamescom 2015 today by Moons Studios' Thomas Mahler, according to Major Nelson.

Major Nelson didn't provide details on the expansion, and only noted it would release for Windows 10 and Xbox One later this year.

It appears that not only is an expansion coming, but a Definitive Edition is as well, which will include the content and more.

Per Gematsu, Mahler said the team took fan feedback on the original game to heart and wanted to address the larger points.

This mean the Definitive Edition will contain “a lot” of new content such as extra areas to explore along with new mechanics, abilities and artwork.

Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition is due out this fall.
