During its gamescom 2015 briefing, Microsoft revealed that all future Games with Gold titles will be playable on Xbox One, meaning that Xbox 360 games that you get each month will be backwards compatible with Xbox One.

November is also when the backwards compatibility programme itself will become available to everyone, for free. All Microsoft Studios-published games will be playable on day one, along with games from publishers such as Bethesda, Bandai Namco, Ubisoft, EA, Capcom, Warner Bros. and more.

While the company's Mike Ybarra was on stage, he also revealed that the new Xbox One UI - which is based on Windows 10 - will be luanching in November.
