Ark: Survival Evolved coming to Xbox Preview Program members this winter

Popular dinosaur game Ark: Survival Evolved is coming to Xbox Game Preview later this year. Don't worry PlayStation 4 users: you'll get the game too.

In July, the Steam Early Access title shifted 1 million copies not long after launch.

In Ark, players choose between a man or a woman who is stranded naked, freezing and starving on a mysterious island. They will need to hunt, harvest, craft items, grow crops, and build shelters to survive.

If skilled enough, players will be able to tame and ride the dinosaurs and other creatures roaming the land. Or they can kill them. Whichever they prefer.

During its gamescom 2015 press conference, Microsoft announced the game would arrive for Preview Program members this winter.

Ark: Survival Evolved will be released later next year on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is still a Steam Early Access title for PC and Mac.
