Prison Architect will leave Steam Early Access in October

Introversion has announced it has committed to releasing Prison Architect in October of this year.

According to the developer, "there is still much work to be done" and it is asking for the community's opinion on the massive Alpha 35 update which launches today.

The release contains an update to the gangs systems which allows prisoners to trade contraband for cash. The cash also produces protection rackets, so be prepared.

Gang leaders will also start instructing their soldiers and lieutenants to "acquire territory" to extort cash from non-affiliated prisoners, should they wish to uses the facilities.

Prison Architect was announced in 2011 and a 2015 release was pegged earlier this year.
