Red Ash Kickstarter needs $1M in funding to hit PlayStation 4 stretch goal

A $1 million stretch goal has been added to the Kickstarter for Mega Man Legends' spiritual successor Red Ash: The Indelible Legend.

If met, the game will be developed for PlayStation 4; however, with nine days left on the clock, the project is only a little over halfway to its initial funding goal.

Originally in development for PC, a poll was posted asking fans to vote on which console they would prefer Red Ash to be ported to. PS4 won out over Wii U and Xbox One, respectively.

Another stretch goal, this one for $1.5 million, would allow more content to be added in the form of two new episodes.

Kenji Inafune's studio Comcept has posted a new video featuring pre-alpha gameplay footage for Red Ash, providing the public with a look at the game's atmosphere (thanks, Gematsu).

Development support for the title is being handled by Hyde which is based out of Takadanobaba, Tokyo.

At present, 5,733 backers have pledged $464,501 to the project's $800,000 goal.
