Get the Dishonored remaster $20 cheaper if you own the original

Bethesda is offering Dishonored fans looking to upgrade to the remastered version quite the deal.

Dishonored: Definitive Edition, the re-release of the stealth game due in August, can be yours 50% cheaper if you own the original. Users on Reddit noticed that browsing the US end of PSN shows an upgrade option to those who own a digital copy of the original on PlayStation 3.

Most people likely will, as the game was among PlayStation Plus offerings in April. The upgrade option will run $20, instead of $40 - the remaster's asking price.

The Definitive Edition comes with all previously released DLC in one package, visually enhanced for new-gen.

The European PSN updates today, and it's fair to assume a similar offer will be there. We will check again later and update this story with our findings.

Update: The discount will also be available on Xbox, a Bethesda representative told Eurogamer.
