Fan-made Yooka-Laylee animated short introduces you to Trowzer the snake

This fan-made animation for Playtonic's successful Kickstarter Yooka-Laylee is rather cute.

The video brings the game’s characters to life using the character bios laid out during the Kickstarter campaign.

The biggest star of the video is Trowzer the snake. According to Playtonic Games, the pants-wearing snake is a merchant who upon being handed in-game money will sell the player new moves which he will then demonstrate.

In the video produced by Mashed below, you get an idea of his personality, as told by the animators. There's also an appearance by Banjo and Kazooie, but they aren't the same as you remember them.

The Kickstarter campaign for Yooka-Laylee launched in May, and in just over 30 minutes hit its $270,000 funding goal. By mid-June, the project had earned £2,090,104.

Yooka-Laylee releases first on PC with PlayStation 4, Wii U and Xbox One versions also in the works.

Thanks, Siliconera.
