Red Dead Redemption is most requested game for Xbox One backward compatibility

Xbox users really want Red Dead Redemption to be backwards compatible on Xbox One.

Microsoft said during its E3 2015 press conference it wanted Xbox users to vote on which games they want to see become backward compatible on the shiny console, and users heeded the call.

So far, RDR leads the packs with 32,707 votes, followed by Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 with 29,473.

Here's the top 10 requested games so far:

  1. Red Dead Redemption
  2. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
  3. Skyrim
  4. Halo: Reach
  5. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
  6. Gears of War 3
  7. Call of Duty: Black Ops
  8. Fallout 3
  9. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
  10. Mass Effect 3

Microsoft said it can't promise every title will be available, but that it is working hard to make "as many of your favorite Xbox 360 titles playable on Xbox One," as possible.
