Gears of War: Ultimate Edition coming to PC

Gears of War is breaking its Xbox exclusivity to extend a welcoming hand to PC gamers.

Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will launch on PC.

Coalition lead Rod Fergusson announced the surprise release during the E3 2015 PC Gaming Show today.

Fergusson spent some time taking up the re-release's new assets and visual overhaul, as well as its 19 multiplayer maps. As a refresher, the pac is a remasterof the first game with five new campaign chapters.

The PC version of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition has not been dated, but it hits Xbox One in August.

Fergusson said he had "nothing to announce yet" regarding more Gears of War games on PC.
