Hush: Into Darkness is a spooky adventure game currently in development for all platforms. Check out the E3 trailer after the break.

Hush takes its inspiration from the dreams, nightmares, and fears of childhood. The protagonist Ashlyn is locked inside an abandoned orphanage, so I'd say the devs have hit their mark.

Describing the game on their site, the developers explain that "You'll be playing as Ashlyn, a brave little girl who has ended up locked inside an abandoned orphanage. She will have to face and overcome her fears if she ever hopes to make it out of this dreadful building."

"The visual style chosen for HUSH is based on traditional cartoon drawings, with this whole component being carefully crafted to make this world breathe."

"Sound plays a major role in making fears come alive. From hellish strings to bone-like marimbas, these melodies will not only complement but enhance the entire experience."

Hush is an episodic game, and the first installment - Into Darkness - is in development for PC, PS4, Xbox One and WiiU.
