E3 2015: the Dark Souls 3 announcement trailer is the best we've seen so far

The announcement trailer for Dark Souls 3 was shown on the Microsoft E3 2015 stage today, and it sent the entire VG247 staff into an absolute tizzy.
A good tizzy mind you.
In development at From Software, players will enter a new "blighted world" where the embers of a once "proud kingdom" cast a gloomy landscape for players to adventure through. Players will battle against fearsome enemies and bosses with a variety of weapons and magic next year.
The press release confirmed that the game is directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki and that it's going to be the final episode in the series.
