GameFly Streaming is a new cloud-based gaming subscription service launched this week exclusively on Amazon Fire TV set-top boxes.

The service boasts of a 720p signal streaming at 8 Mbps. It currently offers 35 PC games, all of which require a control pad.

Games are not available individually or in an all-you-can-eat package; you need to subscribe to "Game Packs" bundling together several titles. Package prices start at $7 per month. Examples include a bundle with seven Lego games.

ArsTechnica reports the new service is built on Playcast, a recently-acquired Israeli cloud gaming company, and doesn't seem super impressed with it so far.
