Release date for Octodad: Dadliest Catch on Vita set for next week

Those who desire to play Octodad: Dadliest Catch on-the-go will have their wish fulfilled next week when the game releases on PlayStation Vita.

The fun sandbox title will be released in both North America and Europe on May 26, according to a post on both PS Blogs by developer Young Horses.

Ported to the handheld by Sickhead Games, Octodad on Vita is Cross-Buy enabled, but it does not support the Cross-Save feature. Due to the later, it will offer new Trophies to give previous players incentive to start a new game.

Players on Vita also have the ability to play co-op locally using one device: two players will each take control on either side of the Vita.
