Next Assassin's Creed game is subtitled Syndicate, stars an assassin named Jacob Frye

Looks like the next Assassin's Creed will be titled Assassin's Creed: Syndicate as previously rumored, and not "Victory".

Polygon confirmed the title after being shown marketing materials ahead of the game's full reveal on Tuesday, May 12.

According to what the site was shown, the game stars an assassin named Jacob Frye and it takes place during the Industrial Revolution in London which is a "world they'll have to see to believe."

Those who pre-order at GameStop will be gifted with a shilling necklace replica like the one worn by the main character in the game.

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate will be revealed at 12pm EDT/5pm UK and the official website has been updated with more teasers.

It's expected to be released in November.
