Nintendo attractions coming to Universal theme parks

Nintendo has partnered with Universal Studios to create theme park attractions based on its characters.

Nintendo has announced today a deal with Universal Parks & Resorts that will enable the creation of "dedicated experiences" based on the Japanese publisher's games and IPs.

The press release does not mention what specific concepts, rides, or attractions could be created using Nintendo characters. "The immersive experiences will include major attractions at Universal’s theme parks and will feature Nintendo’s most famous characters and games," reads the release.

No dates for when these will be done were given, but Nintendo promised to reveal more in the future.

For now, you can imagine a bumper car arena themed around Mario Kart or something.
